Larval Control
These products provide economical control of mosquito, black fly, midge and filter fly larvae by introducing a bacterial agent that disrupts the digestive system of the larvae. Its active ingredient is Bacillus thringiensis israelensis (Bti) and is a naturally occurring bacterium which minimizes environmental impact and is biodegradable. These products are used wherever standing water is present, such as marshes, ponds, wetland areas, culvets and catch basins; all of which provide ideal breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
